About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Italian Teacher to lead junior and middle school classes (Years 7, 8, & 9). This role is ideal for a teacher who can make language learning fun, interactive, and culturally relevant for younger students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Italian language lessons to Years 7, 8, and 9.

  • Foster an appreciation for Italian culture and history through immersive activities.

  • Develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in line with the Victorian Curriculum.

  • Work collaboratively with the LOTE faculty to design assessments and curriculum resources.

Successful Candidate Profile

  • Registration: Current VIT Registration (Provisional or Full).

  • Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Italian Language/Education.

  • Skills: Fluency in Italian and the ability to engage students in the middle years.
